Profile

The Kenyans in Japan Association (KIJA) is a vibrant community organization that fosters connections among Kenyans living in Japan. Through socio-cultural, educational, and economic initiatives, KIJA promotes cooperation between Japan and Africa, strengthening ties and mutual understanding.

History

Established in response to the growing Kenyan diaspora in Japan, KIJA has evolved into a key support network. Its history is marked by organizing socio-cultural exchange events, offering community support, and facilitating collaboration between Kenya and Japan.

To be the premier organization representing Kenyans in Japan, bridging cultural and professional gaps while creating opportunities for growth and collaboration.

To enhance the well-being of Kenyans in Japan by fostering a sense of community, providing resources and support, and promoting cultural, social, and economic exchanges between Japan and Africa.
